LUCY KNAPP REAL ESTATE OF HAMMONDSPORT JOINS REALTYUSA

"Williamsville, New York - Lucy Knapp Real Estate of Hammondsport, New York, has joined RealtyUSA as of April 3, 2006. RealtyUSA has purchased the firm and its building at 52 Pulteney Street in Hammondsport. Knapp and her team of six agents have joined RealtyUSA and will work from their current location in Hammondsport.

Lucy Knapp Real Estate has been in the real estate business for over 22 years, specializing in lakeshore and recreation properties on Keuka Lake. Knapp and her team of agents are very familiar with the unique requirements involved in buying and selling property in the area such as Keuka Watershed regulations.

Knapp has spent her life living and working in the area and will continue selling real estate with RealtyUSA. She is very involved in the Keuka Lake Association which works to protect and enhance the lake and its watershed.

It is the home of aviation pioneer Glenn Curtiss, the Father of Naval Aviation. Much of the economy of this region is based on grape growing and wine production. Keuka (local pronunciation: kyoo-ka) means canoe landing in the Iroquois language.
